At Eye Guard, your privacy is fundamental to our design. We believe that you should not have to trade your privacy for great features. This policy outlines how we handle your data.

1. On-Device Processing

All processing of camera data happens exclusively on your device. The AI models for distance and blink detection run locally on your Mac. At no point is your camera feed, images, or videos ever sent to our servers or any third-party service. What happens on your Mac, stays on your Mac.

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or have access to any personally identifiable information (PII). The App functions without requiring you to create an account or provide any personal details.

3. Anonymous Analytics

To help us improve Eye Guard, we may collect anonymous, aggregated, non-personal usage data using Google Analytics. This data may include information like feature usage frequency or crash reports. This information is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you. It helps us understand which features are most useful and where we can make improvements. You can opt-out of this anonymous data collection in the App's settings.

4. Subscription Information

If you subscribe to our Premium version, the transaction is processed securely through the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. We only receive an anonymous token from Apple to verify your subscription status.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We advise you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
